Jackie has been with us since 2013, but has a medical and dental background of over thirty years. She first became interested in dentistry from two family members in the field. However, it was getting her nursing degree from Bowling Green State University that fueled her passion. There she learned about the correlation between medical and dental health and knew what she wanted to do.
Jackie said, “Our office is a vibrant learning environment where concern, compassion, and interest in patients are priorities. Working as a team is of utmost importance to me. I enjoy meeting the needs of others and strive to provide a positive experience for them. Making a difference by helping the patient is very satisfying.”
Jackie’s been married for 23 years. She and her husband have two children and a golden doodle named Murphy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as walking, cycling, knitting, and traveling.
Cheryl has been an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for over twenty years. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assisting, followed by EFDA school at Case Western Reserve University. She got into dentistry because she is a hands on person and wanted to be a caregiver in a tangible way. She also finds the high tech aspect of the field exciting. The technology is constantly changing, which means there is always something new to learn.
Cheryl and her partner Michael have three daughters, four pugs, and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, boating, reading, and spending time with family.
Gina joined our team in 2008 with over 25 years of experience. She is both a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA), earning her EFDA degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine. Gina has continued her postgraduate education focusing on cosmetic and computerized dentistry. Annually, she attends hands on courses at The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry focusing on CEREC, (our one visit crown technology) as well as numerous courses on dental restorative materials and patient care.
In addition to her wealth of knowledge and experience, Gina brings her upbeat personality and caring attitude to our team. We know our patients will always enjoy their experience with Gina.
